The sheriff does not certify court outcomes, and the prosecutor’s working file is not the public court file. Those offices may hold related material, but the filed case belongs with the clerk.

Ironton Cases at Iron County
Ironton made an important local change in 2019. Its ordinance designated the 42nd Judicial Circuit as the municipal court, and municipal records transferred to the Iron County Circuit Courthouse effective March 1 of that year. An older Ironton citation can therefore lead to the county clerk rather than a freestanding municipal-court website.
Start with Case.net and set the court location with care. If the expected city matter does not appear, give the clerk the person’s name, approximate citation date, and any old case or ticket number. Ask whether the matter was transferred, indexed under a different location, or kept in an older paper file. This route is more reliable than assuming a missing web result means that no case exists.

Public views omit or redact Social Security numbers, full financial account numbers, protected victim and minor data, sealed cases, and confidential documents. A booking sheet is a different record. Reading Iron County Case Counts
A single Iron County court case can contain several counts with different outcomes. The case-level word “disposed” means the case has ended at that court level.
